WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) issued the following statement in response to Senator Dianne Feinstein's (D-CA) introduction of the Western Riverside National Wildlife Refuge Act:
"As an original supporter of the Western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan, I was proud to introduce H.R. 972 to codify the federal government's commitment to this plan. I thank Senator Feinstein for her partnership on this important initiative through the introduction of the Western Riverside National Wildlife Refuge Act. I look forward to reviewing the Senator's proposal, hearing feedback from my constituents, and working with her to maintain the integrity of the MSHCP that provides certainty for continued economic growth and infrastructure development in my community."
