Today, Congressman Ken Calvert (CA-42) voiced his concerns about the Biden Administration's response to the monkeypox virus outbreak. Rep. Calvert sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra demanding answers on the steps being taken to protect Americans and prioritize high-risk communities in education, prevention, and treatment.

"Too much confusion and uncertainty remain about the monkeypox virus," said Rep. Calvert. "Vulnerable communities and those experiencing outbreaks need access and information about the testing and vaccine resources that exist. We need to ensure that our federal healthcare agencies are getting testing and vaccine resources to the communities where they are most in need in a timely fashion."
