The Governor Skipped Debate with New Mexico Small Business Owners to Rub Elbows With Out of State Donors
Albuquerque, NM — Governor Lujan Grisham has confirmed to reporters today that she did in fact skip the NAIOP New Mexico Gubernatorial Forum in favor of attending an out of state fundraising trip. This comes fresh after Lujan Grisham’s campaign and official offices refused to disclose the governor’s whereabouts on Monday.
Not only did Lujan Grisham abandon NAIOP and the New Mexico small business owners who were expecting her presence at the forum to defend her abysmal record, she failed to inform the media or the public that she would be leaving the state and leaving the Lieutenant Governor as Acting Governor. The public has a right to know who is running the state, but covering up information that is owed to the public is par for the course for this governor.
