Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has made available $600,000 in new grant funding for Child and Family Advocacy Centers (CFACs) across the state. CFACs provide victim-focused programs and help coordinate critical services for victims of family violence and sexual assault, including children.
This is the third round of funding the AGO has provided to CFACs as a result of a program established jointly with the Arizona Legislature. To date, the AGO has already distributed $1.2 million to CFACs across the state since the implementation of the grant funding program.
CFACs provide victim-focused programs and help coordinate critical services for victims of family violence and sexual assault, including children. CFACs collectively provide critical services to more than 20,000 victims in a typical calendar year, including victims of adult abuse, vulnerable adult abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, juvenile sex trafficking, and homicide.
