Republican Gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon and her running mate Shane Hernandez were joined by both Tulsi Gabbard and Ronna McDaniel for a full weekend of campaigning in southeast Michigan. The weekend was filled with a series of events, including an Ask Me Anything town hall, Michigan vs. Michigan State watch party, local church service, and multiple rallies to advocate for unity, freedom, and parents' rights.

Dixon interacted with thousands of Michiganders as she works to spread her family friendly message throughout the state. She will continue her bus tour to communities across the state, with stops planned each day through the election on November 8th.

"It is time to fund students, not systems," Dixon said. "We had the opportunity to talk about what's happening in schools and what we're going to do to get kids back on track, and I still haven't heard from Gretchen Whitmer what she's planning to do.She stands up there and no one holds her accountable. What are you going to do to get these kids back on track?" Dixon said. "We got our reading scores back from the spring, nearly 60% of our third graders failed."

Gabbard said she came to Michigan to campaign after what she says is a demonstration of strength and leadership by Dixon, who she wants to see hold the Biden administration and Congress accountable. “She is built for this moment,” Gabbard said. “She has shown it through her track record of leadership and through her courage and speaking up, even knowing that speaking up comes at a cost.”

"Unfortunately how the Democrat party, especially over the last few years has just gotten out of touch with the real needs of families across the country and families here in Michigan," said Tulsi Gabbard. "Last time I was here was a couple years ago and I was campaigning for president and I saw then what I'm hearing now from Tudor about the failure of leadership to really address the everyday needs."

Friday, Dixon had a captive audience as she talked about her platform and answered questions from voters.
