Today, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, endorsed Wes Moore in the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Election.

“Leaving no one behind means protecting every Marylander, no matter who they worship, what they look like, or who they love,” said Wes Moore. “If elected, I’ll always fight to make Maryland more inclusive for everyone–that’s a philosophy my opponent doesn’t subscribe to, he would much rather divide us. Instead, I’ll spend every day in Annapolis fighting to bring us all closer together to achieve a more prosperous home for every Marylander. I’m grateful to have the Jewish Democratic Council of America amongst our ranks as we fight to build a more inclusive Maryland.”

“There is so much at stake in Maryland this year. That is why Jewish Dems are proud to support Wes Moore in the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Election,”  said Samuel J. Crystal, JDCA Spokesperson. “Wes is fighting for the issues the Jewish voters care about most and for a Maryland that leaves no one behind. His life experiences – the son of an immigrant, Rhodes scholar, combat veteran, small business founder, and nonprofit leader – have prepared him well for this moment, and we know that as governor, he will be focused on improving the lives of all Marylanders. It must also be made perfectly clear that his Republican opponent, Dan Cox, is a right-wing extremist with a history of antisemitic remarks and dangerous Holocaust distortion. His bigotry has no place in Maryland and we are proud to join the fight to elect Wes Moore and send him to Annapolis.”
