Friday, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released a statement slamming the Biden Administration’s proposal to impose venting and flaring regulations on a million existing wells.
“The Biden Administration is hell-bent on debilitating the American oil and gas industry,” said Congressman August Pfluger. “This proposal of needless regulations will do nothing but kill energy jobs, cripple output, and make our Nation less safe in the process. In addition, this rule has already been struck down in federal court, proving democrats will attempt any measure to harm the oil and gas industry. Private industry innovation has already paved the way for the U.S. to lower harmful emissions to all-time-lows. We need more private innovation, not harmful regulations."
