“I am extremely frustrated with the Democrats’ repeated efforts to poison the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)—the bill that allows our valiant military to defend our country. Nothing could be more important. I voted to advance the FY2022 NDAA to the next step in negotiations because it continues President Trump’s commitment to fully fund our military, provides our servicemembers and their families a well-earned pay raise, directs National Guard resources to our southern border, and holds President Biden accountable for abandoning American citizens and Afghan partners.
“I am wholeheartedly opposed to any Democrat attempt to restrict our Second Amendment Rights. I will not be satisfied with this bill until these provisions are removed and will do everything in my power to fight them. If they are not, I will vote no on the final version.”
