With five days until Election Day, Secretary of State and Democratic nominee for governor Katie Hobbs kicked off her day visiting Booker T. Washington Childhood Development Center. Hobbs observed classrooms and spoke with administrators about her Prepared Arizona plan.
Hobbs’ plan will provide state funding for early childhood education so that more families can afford to send their children to preschools. Additionally, her plan will build on the progress of First Things First so more early childhood centers, like Booker T. Washington, have the support that they need.
In the afternoon, Hobbs attended an early vote event at Arizona State University with Mission for Arizona, where she met students and encouraged them to vote at the early vote location on campus.
In the closing days of the campaign, Katie Hobbs will continue to deliver her Solutions Can’t Wait message to voters throughout the state.
