U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) is calling upon the Biden administration to provide real solutions for Iowans and Americans that have been crushed by sky-high prices at the pump and historic inflation. The senator referenced a rural Iowan who had to stop eating out at a local restaurant and canceled a planned upgrade to his farm equipment due to the high cost of fuel. Ernst slammed the Biden administration for continuing to tell Iowans the solution to high gas prices is to buy an electric vehicle. The senator urged the administration to unleash U.S. domestic energy.
Ernst has been a strong proponent of employing domestic energy to relieve the pain at the pump and boost U.S. production and security.
