U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) responds to the news that the U.S. economy shrank in the second quarter of this year – proving the United States is in a recession – and the Democrats’ disastrous “solution” to this reality:
“Because of out-of-control federal spending under President Biden, and despite what the White House might claim, the United States is in a recession and American families are facing the highest rates of inflation in more than 40 years.
“President Biden and Washington Democrats have only one solution to their own economic crisis: raise taxes and spend billions more. The Democrats’ agenda has been nothing short of reckless, and the American people feel it every day.”
