With Iowans struggling under crushing inflation, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) today slammed President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress for their plan to raise taxes and spend even more. Ernst described stories of Iowans having to resort to pawn shops to afford gas. 

Ernst has long pushed for Democrats to give up their plan to raise taxes and increase spending, while urging the president to open up America’s domestic energy production, including increasing the use of homegrown biofuels.
