RENO, NV - With Russia beginning its invasion of Ukraine, Nevada Republican U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt released the following statement on the crisis:
"As I have said for months, the Biden administration has done nothing but invite conflict through weakness,” said Laxalt. "Biden should have called for the suspension of Nordstream 2, imposed sanctions, and provided assistance for Ukraine much earlier, but his flat-footed response has all but guaranteed unnecessary bloodshed, just as he did in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, our U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto has refused to hold Biden accountable on this issue or any other, and the cost to our country will likely be great. Her remarks now are too little, too late."
