RENO, NV - While Nevada Republican U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt makes unprecedented efforts to build on Latino support for the GOP, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and her fellow Democrats face growing challenges to win them over after years of failures.

A new report by the New York Times highlights how Democrats in states like Nevada lost significant support among Latino voters in the 2020 election, putting Cortez Masto particularly at risk of losing re-election. At the same time a new Wall Street Journal poll shows Republicans leading Democrats by 9-points on the congressional generic ballot among Latino voters.

Meanwhile, Adam has been engaged with Nevada's Latino community, launching the Latinos for Laxalt coalition with a packed crowd in Las Vegas this month to propel our campaign to victory this November.

"No candidate is working harder to fight for Nevada Latinos than Adam Laxalt," said Laxalt campaign advisor Jesus Marquez. "With massive unemployment, sky-high gas prices, schools burdened by COVID lockdowns, and rising crime, Latinos are sick and tired of Catherine Cortez Masto offering empty promises while pushing an agenda that makes life worse for our community. Adam will fight for us as our next U.S. Senator."
