Today, the Sisolak Campaign released a new ad, “Southwest Steve,” which features Governor Sisolak traveling on Southwest Airlines to save taxpayer dollars.

Governor Sisolak has never used taxpayer dollars to fund private flights when traveling across Nevada nor has he used the state plane, opting instead to fly commercial. BONUS: The governor gets to meet and talk to Nevadans about the issues they care about most (from the window seat).

Transcription:

GOVERNOR SISOLAK: I like my snack mix salted. Black coffee in a paper cup. My politics may be middle of the road, but I hate the middle seat. Sure, you can call me governor, but in the air between Reno and Vegas, I’m Southwest Steve. Because I never fly private planes to the capital. I fly commercial to save taxpayer money. Look, I don’t just work for you. I’m on board with you, too.
